Ilene Evans, world-renowned actress, musician and story-teller, will bring a free, open-to-the-public lunch-and-learn return engagement of her one-woman show, General Moses: Stories from the Life of Harriet Tubman to Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College Wednesday, February 25, to celebrate Black History Month. Evans is a featured performer with the West Virginia Humanities Council’s ‘History Alive!’ program, and also serves as artistic director and educator-in-residence at Voices-from-the-Earth.
A Diversity of Equity grant from WV’s Higher Education Policy Commission and the WV Community and Technical College System supports this program.
