A group of members of the Tucker County Historical Society recently hiked to what some believe may be an Indian mound here in Tucker County. The photo shows the mound, highlighted with dashed lines to discern it from the landscape. To help gauge the size of the mound, two people in the photo are circled. Making the one-mile hike with about a 500-ft. climb in elevation were Don Knotts, Kevin Keplinger, Jack McGuigan, Dave and Nancy Lesher, and Steve Kimbrell.
