Al “Sparky” Lane

Blackwater Chapter members met at Little Andi’s Restaurant in Parsons and welcomed Al “Sparky” Lane, co-owner and operator of Patriot 4 Outdoor Resort at St. George, as the guest speaker. Lane gave a very informative account of the Patriot 4 facilities that caters to wounded veterans.

Patriot 4 is located on the Cheat River which is a wonderful spot for small mouth and red eye fishing. They have a trout creek that runs along the side of the rental cabins and ponds.

The cabins and general store, which are handicap accessible, is about giving back to wounded veterans and their families who have done so much for the cause of freedom and quality of live for all of us.

One of the goals for Patriot 4 is to generate enough revenue in the store, the grill and cabin rentals to be able to allow any wounded veteran and his/her family that desire to come visit, hunt and fish at no charge. They want to house and feed them and provide equipment if needed.
