Ryan Zirk stands in front of his painting, “Art Matters” on the main stairway landing at Eastern WV Community and Technical College. The painting represents the first ever oil-on-canvas interpretation of Eastern’s new official mascot, the Eagle.
“Many of the wonderful opportunities in my life have materialized from the college,” Zirk noted, “and it seemed only fitting that they should have it.”
