An unexpected gift to Tucker Community Foundation from an anonymous donor brought lots of smiles to Mountaintop Library supporters. Accepting the $15,000 check: (front row l-r) Board President Katie Morvay (L) and Librarian Ivonne Martinez (r), (back row) Joan Armbruster, Anne Felty, Pat Cooper, and Karen Peterson. The donation establish an endowed fund, The Mountaintop Public Library New Building Fund, and was intended to encourage additional donations from the public. Plans are to construct the new library at, or close to, its current site beside Davis Thomas Elementary & Middle School in Thomas.
