Tucker County Director of the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management/ 911 presents Tucker County EMS Director Sheila Marsh four iPads, cases, screen protectors and extra-long charging cables Wednesday during the Tucker County Commission meeting. Funds for the equipment came from a grant adjustment from the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Marsh said the equipment will be used by EMS personnel to complete run forms that are online now. She said when the forms are completed on the tablets, they will be sent to the billing company and to the state office of EMS. Marsh said the iPads allow EMS personnel to snap a photo of the patient’s insurance card and capture a signature from the patient – saving time on paperwork.
