The Parsons High School class of 1957 met at Canaan Valley Resort on May 26,for a banquet to celebrate 60 years since graduation.
Social hour was from 5-6p. There were 20 class members attending with guests and spouses totaling 31 people.
Dnner was enjoyed followed by a demonstrations of chemical reactions by classmate Professor Gary Simmons, who retired from teaching chemistry at Lehigh University in Bethleham, PA.
Gospel music was provided by Priscilla Flanagan, Dennis White, and Bob Booth. Tyler Shaffer sang a solo. The group sang West Virginia Hills, and Bob Booth recited the lyrics from “Bricklayer’s Song”.
