In September, the unemployment rate in Tucker County reached a record low of 4.3% (the lowest rate since county records have been kept). As of April, the unemployment rate in Tucker County had climbed to a record high of 18.6%. While I anticipate the unemployment rate will begin to decline in the near future, some workers may be permanently displaced.
