ArtSpring “Wish You Well” Project

In the interest of getting together to do creative things as a community, ArtSpring is hosting a second installment of the “Wish You Well” project over the next four weeks.

This project was born out of a wish to remind people that though the world is a startlingly large place full of people that we will never meet, most of the people out there wish you well. It doesn’t matter who you are, in general, most people hope that all the strangers out there have a good day. However, in the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s not always apparent this is true, so ArtSpring decided to pick a town and host an event to send out reminders of this to each person in that town.

Last year about 40 Tucker County community members participated and sent over 500 letters to Cerrillos, NM, and this year those that voted have chosen Hillsboro, WV. There will be two more evenings hosted at TipTop (1/29 @6pm) and the Purple Fiddle (2/3 @ 6pm) to make letters in the company of others, but if you wish to make mail on your own that is fine too. Just email artspringwv@gmail.com by February 4 if you would like to participate in our bulk mailing of the Wish You Well Project.

Contact artspringwv@gmail.com if you have any questions.
