Elkins, WV – Legacy Lane is a commemorative Brick Garden at the Davis House in Elkins. Last week, Friends of the Davis House gathered for a Blessing of the Bricks Ceremony and Reception to celebrate all those honored or memorialized in the Brick Garden.
The Ceremony included music by Seth Maynard and the Blessing by Reverend Basil Hensley. Attendees were invited to a reception and tours of the Davis House following the event.
“We’re celebrating those who have touched our lives and a place of peaceful reflection for both patients and guests,” said Davis Health System Foundation Director Mike Bell.
The Davis House was established in 2012 as a place of comfort and a place to heal for those receiving cancer treatments at the Davis Medical Center Cancer Care Center. It is located on the campus of Davis Medical Center. For information about the Davis House or about a commemorative brick please call 304.630.3043.
