The annual Bright’s Chapel Homecoming was held July 24, 2016 at the Bright’s Chapel Church with 75 in attendance. Frank and Sharlene Carr welcomed those in attendance. A silent prayer was observed for those passing away since the last homecoming. Matthew Bright gave the blessing of the food. Special prizes were given as follows: Oldest women, Londa Bowman; oldest man, Shorty White; Couple married the longest, Shorty and Mary Carol White; Youngest child, Landon Jones; Traveling the farthest Norman and Rita Kight; Most recently married, Benji and Robbie Day and Tom and Amy Simmons.
