Carlo Ricottilli, is a 1964 graduate of WVU School of Forestry and former member of the Army National Guard where he received its overall proficiency award. Having worked at his brother’s sawmill beginning at age 12, he found his calling in the split rail fence business. In 1969, along with his wife Patricia, he founded Ricottilli Lumber Company in Pikeville, KY, and in 1974 started the split rail fence business in the wonderful community of Moore, WV. He continues to work there along with his sons, Ron and Bryan, and daughter in law, Sarah.
