ELKINS—Holiday shoppers can get a head start on their Christmas list at the Gift Garden Christmas open house, being held Thursday October 30th and Friday October 31st from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Gift Garden is a project of the DMC Auxiliary with proceeds going to patient care and comfort items.

Vicki Straughan, Gift Garden Coordinator said “We’re kicking off the holiday season with a spirited open house. We have a festive inventory of Christmas decorations and gift items for all ages. We’ll also be raffling a Christmas basket and will serve refreshments.

Some of the featured items include Jim Shore items, candles, Christmas Annaleece Jewelry, Christmas trees, holiday ornaments, home décor and candies, plus, hand crafted wreaths and primitive decorations.

“Stop in any time to start your holiday shopping and support the DMC Auxiliary,” Straughan said. The Gift Garden is located on the ground floor of Davis Medical Center and is open from 8AM to 4PM Monday thru Friday. For more information call 304-637-3751.
