P.R.O. – OnTrac members are planning their Sixth Annual Celebration of Parsons for individuals who have been instrumental in helping to make the City of Parsons community a better place to work and live. The people of the Parsons Community are asked to submit letters of nominations for the committee to choose from for the following awards to be presented.
- Business/Entrepreneur of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Public Safety Person of the Year (Fire Dept., EMS, Law Enforcement)
- Most Courageous Person of the Year
- Celebrate Parsons Person of the Year (Person or Organization)
- Distinguished Senior Citizen of the Year
These awards are to be presented to people who work and live in the Parsons area. New Business people will also be recognized.
A dinner will be on Sunday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at the Baptist Church Gym for anyone who would like to come and help celebrate with the award winners. The dinner is being catered by Tuscan Grill Catering and Hospitality Services in Parsons. There will be a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing.
Reservations and tickets will be available until April 15. Tickets are $20 for one and $35 for two.
