Thomas, WV – Starting a new year is an opportunity to renew, restore and plan for the future. And the management at Cortland Acres took advantage of the occasion to celebrate a successful 2018 and raise the bar even higher for 2019. Toasting with sparkling grape juice, resolutions were made for the Vision 2030: Leading The Way initiative, resident-center care as well as communication and retention.
“Our New Year’s toast was a chance to reflect on the previous year and articulate strategies for Cortlands’ future,” explains administrator Beth Clevenger. “We’ve had so many wonderful successes this past year – consistent five-star service ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service, impressive additions to our already talented staff, and of course the introduction of Vision 2030 that it seemed only natural to get together and make resolutions together…for our future.”
