Dr. Sizemore earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, WV. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from Concord University of Athens, WV.

He is certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Medicine and holds medical licensure in both WV and Ohio.

Dr. Sizemore has practiced as a hospitalist, and most recently in a private practice setting in the Parkersburg, WV area. He and his wife are both native West Virginians and appreciate the small community setting offered here.

“I have worked in all size hospitals and much prefer the personal touch of a small community hospital over the larger hospitals that lose the individual patient in their system. Similarly, I feel the same about the Elkins area over large cities and look forward to raising my family here,” said Dr. Sizemore.

Hospitalists provide general medical care for patients who are hospitalized.
