MOOREFIELD, WV – OCTOBER 23, 2020 – The Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College Foundation recently launched a new website. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting student scholarships, faculty development, and capital projects. Generous donors and friends allow the Foundation to provide financial assistance that helps make college possible and opens doors for career training. Donors recognize the important role Eastern plays in the economic development of the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia.
The website enhancements highlight various giving opportunities and streamline the electronic giving process. The new site provides a format to collect and share Eastern Alumni Success Stories and promote the Foundation’s Newsletter by providing a depository of previous publications. Visitors may sign up to receive future publications. The new website provides a place to promote the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
“Giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference to students and the community.
Together, we can change lives and move the Potomac Highlands Region forward,” said Megan Webb, Dean of Advancement and Innovation at Eastern. Scholarships help make college affordable and allow Eastern to maintain its competitive edge while transforming the lives of current and future Eastern students. With donor help, the Foundation can ensure students will excel and have a prosperous future.
“One of the most rewarding parts of giving is watching how it changes the lives of those impacted by your gift. The generosity of donors has helped countless students succeed at Eastern,” said Charles Bolyard, Foundation Contractor. Community investors (donors and friends) can help transform the lives of current and future Eastern students.
Investment opportunities can be found on the new Foundation website. Donors may choose from a variety of ways to support the Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College through volunteering time and talents, providing an in-kind gift, and making a financial contribution to the Foundation.
