Instructor/Captain Tom Klus is leading 23 firemen in a Core Rescue class. Twelve of the individuals are members of the Parsons VFD, three are members of Thomas VFD, three are members of Davis VFD. This class will last two more weekends and is just one of many classes being offered over the next few months. PVFD is making a major push this year in training its members in rescue technics both on land and in water.
The inclement weather moved the ropes rescue training indoors at Co10. This is part of the core rescue class with ropes level 1 being conducted by Captain Tom Klus of the Parsons VFD. There are 23 area firefighters involved in this training class with 12 of them from company 10.
