Kids attending our 2013 Jakes Day Event

The Tygart Valley Chapter of National Wild Turkey Federation will be hosting their annual JAKES DAY, on Saturday, June 28, 2014. This FREE event is opened to children ages 17 and under, and offers kids learning stations throughout the day. This year stations will include Fishing, Air Rifle Shooting, Skeet Shooting, Snakes and many more. This event is sponsored by the TV Chapter of NWTF, but also has the help from many members of the Mountaineer Chapter of IWLA, who provide a free lunch for all attending and provides their beautiful property for this fun filled day.

The clubhouse is located approximately six miles straight up Files Creek Road in Beverly, there will be signs posted to follow. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the event starting at 9 a.m., a drawing for prizes will be held at the end of the day and kids must have registered by 9 a.m. and present to win.

Bring your kids, grandkids, neighbor’s kids and come spend the day with us in the outdoors. You may want to bring sunscreen and an extra pair of shoes, too.
