According to a press release from the Tucker County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12 deputies were informed by family members that Tabitha Witemore was sending snapchats to friends and family.
On Saturday, Sept. 12 deputies were notified that a family member located Tabitha near Baltimore, Md. and took her to the local Law Enforcement Department. Chief Deputy J. Sigley, along with Sgt. C. A. Teter went to Baltimore and transported Tabitha back to her family‘s residence.
At this time, the Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the family and friends of Tabitha, along with several different departments and operations for helping in locating Tabitha and bringing her safely home to her family.
