On Sunday, May 14, at approximately 2:40 p.m. acting Chief Deputy C.R. Donelson, of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Office and TFC J.J. Schmidle, of the West Virginia State Police, received a report of a possible body in a wooded location in Tucker County. Once on scene officers determined the identity of the decedent to be Teresa Ann Burch. Burch was the missing person identified in a Silver Alert issued by the Maryland State Police, McHenry Barracks. At this time, there is no suspicion of foul play. The Tucker County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation.
