Vivian Shomo, President of the Mountaineer Garden Club arranges seasonal flowers at the welcome sign on Route 72 in Parsons.
Chosen for the summer season were Easy Wave pink passion petunias as anchors on each end of the seven self watering planters with Sweet Caroline light green sweet potato vines surrounding the center piece of Soprano White Osteospermum hybrid. The Mountaineer Garden Club maintains the welcome sign on Route 72 with seasonal displays of various flowers and shrubs.The Garden club meets at 6 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the Five Rivers Public Library.
