Mountaineer Garden Club June Yard of Month

Sam Humphrey’s home was selected for June Yard of the Month by the MGC. Sam is remodeling the Old Ours home on Fourth Street. The landscaping with day lilies, a weeping cherry tree and various greenery looks beautiful against the old red brick home. In addition, he has placed wire window boxes with geraniums, vines and other annuals offset by the lighting. So wonderful to see this older home shine.
Beautifully landscaped and always neat in appearance makes McDonalds the MGC selection for the June Business YOM with yellow day lilies encircling the building, spiraea bushes in the front providing season long color off set by the bountiful mulch is always a pleasure to see when driving downtown.
