The M&T Charitable Foundation continued its support of the Tucker Boulder Park by awarding a third grant to the project.
The grant will help with the purchase and installation of the third and final boulder planned for the park. M&T Charitable Foundation has a long history of supporting the Tucker Boulder Park as well as other local community projects.
The grant was presented by Brant Bush, assistant vice president M&T Bank and Keyser branch manager, and Sue Simpson, vice president M&T Bank and relationship manager/business and professional banking. M& T Bank was founded on the belief that banks exist to help people and communities succeed.

Tucker Boulder Park provides a unique recreational venue in the Potomac Highlands region. The park is located outside of Davis on W.Va. 32 and is free and open to the public daily until dusk. It features an extra-large boulder and a smaller children’s boulder with colorful hand holds placed to make route-finding easy for newcomers.
The park is a collaborative community-based project that is owned and operated by the Town of Davis. Tucker Community Foundation is leading the fundraising effort. The project is funded by Land & Water Conservation Funds, other grant support and private and corporate donations. Western Pocahontas Properties and the Dominion Foundation are also lead partners in the project.
Fundraising efforts for the third boulder are underway and visitors to the park are encouraged to feed the donation post featured at the park’s entrance. The addition of a third boulder is planned for the park along with a trail connector funded by a WV DOT Recreational Trail grant.
The Tucker Community Foundation manages more than 120 endowed funds providing annual scholarships and grants to nonprofits and charitable causes throughout the eight-county service area.
