Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge and Friends of the 500th seek entries for an art exhibition, August 2-18, 2018. All artists (including photography) are invited to make one submission for possible inclusion, with the theme ‘The Nature of Canaan Valley’. From photography to fabric, mixed media, all paintings and drawings including, oil, acrylic, ink, graphite, pastels, etc. – anything inspired by the rugged beauty of the Canaan Valley area.
The work must be ready to be hung on a wall to be considered. No work that requires special installation or instructions will be accepted. All media considered through online submission of digital jpeg images only.
Submission deadline: June1, 2018, if accepted artwork must be at the refuge visitor center no later than July 20, 2018. Questions?
