Ritter Retires From Citizens Bank of WV

Nathaniel S. Bonnell, President & CEO of Citizens Bank of West Virginia, has announced that Vice President & Financial Center Manager Debbie Ritter has retired after 41 years of service to the people of Tucker County. Her retirement was effective June 30, 2025.

Debbie has had a storied career in banking, having worked in all areas of the bank including branch manager, assistant branch manager, loan officer, loan specialist, loan clerk, proof operator and teller. She was promoted to Vice President in 2018.

She was recently awarded the coveted Tuckineer Award by the Tucker County Chamber of Commerce for her active involvement in the community. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Tucker Community Foundation and Tucker County Chamber of Commerce, and was a member of the Parsons Blueprint Community Team. Married to husband Mike Ritter, she has one daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Evin Thomas, and two grandchildren, Nolan and Eden.

“Debbie is a valued employee that has made a lasting impact on the lives of our customers, employees, and the Tucker County community,” said President & CEO Nathaniel S. Bonnell. “Her passion for serving our customers and others embodies the essence of our organization and we will all miss her. We wish her a well-deserved and happy retirement.”
