November is National Rural Health Month. This year, The Center for Rural Health Development, WV Office of Rural Health (West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources), and West Virginia Rural Health Association are teaming up to celebrate West Virginia Rural Health Leaders who have worked diligently to improve the health of all who call the Mountain State home.

A rural health leader we’d like to recognize is Linda Shriver, CEO of Preston Taylor Community Health Centers. Through her tenure as CEO, Linda has grown the health center into six clinics, two pharmacies, and one dental office covering four counties! Linda’s impact on the communities that Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers serves is enormous. These successful clinics focus on caring for underserved rural communities of #WestVirginia by providing primary care, behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, dental and pharmacy services. Linda is another one of West Virginia’s Rural Health Leaders.
