Strutters Baton and Dance Team win 2017-2018 NBTA State Twirling Championships at Ripley High School on November 11, 2017.
The group participated in twirling and dance routines and competed with 14 other teams throughout the state of West Virginia to win the title and trophy as National Baton Twirling Association 2017-2018 West Virginia State Champions.
The group won six first place wins in baton and dance and then went on to win the highest scores of the overall State Championship. Coach Patty Delauder was selected for Coach of the Year. The children practice weekly in Barbour and Tucker Counties.
The group competes each year for the State Championships as they represent their counties and state. The group is a non -profit group that enjoys participating in local parades, festivals, and competitions. The group will be accepting new enrollment on March 1, 2017 at Mill Race Park 6 p.m. The registration is free and no monthly fees.
