ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS!
Summer camp is a four week program lasting from July 5 –July 28, three days per week, Tuesday – Thursday, from 8 a.m. – noon. The camp will be hosted at Tucker Valley and Davis Thomas for students in K-4th grade.
The goals of this year’s camp is to provide reading instruction and enrichment, as well as a snack and lunch to help prevent the “summer slide,” or falling behind, that is typical in the summer months.
Davis Thomas and The Mountain Institute are partnering to study primitive and survival skills during the camp as well. Days with the Mountain Institute will be themed and offer a plethora of hands on activities.
Transportation will be provided.
If you have any further questions or are interested in enrolling your child contact the Tucker County Board of Education office or Valerie Eye at 304- 621 -2022.
