PARSONS – The doors have finally reopened for the Tucker Country Inn. At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21 the dream came true for three ladies that have taken on the task of bringing a new business to Tucker County.
Kim Delsignore, one of the owners, said, “We are glad to be here and we appreciate all the help we have gotten to get this far.”
Barbara Burns, owner, said, “This is a learning experience for us and we hope everything goes well.” Amanda Hershman, owner, was busy in the kitchen.
In attendance for the grand opening was Tucker County Commission President, Lowell Moore. He said, “It is always good for new business to come to the county. I want to commend everyone for their hard work on renovations. The business had deteriorated to a sad state and with Corridor H coming through it is good to have a motel and another restaurant. It is just another step to prepare Parsons for the future.”
Brian Adkins, of Adkins Home Center, said that he has done business with Barbara for years and her family is good people.
The Tucker Country in is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. They may be reached at 304-478-3007.
