On August 7 and 8 the Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter will be holding a yard sale at the Davis Fire Hall in Davis from 10 a.m. -4 p both days. They are accepting donations of household items and need volunteers for the event. The proceeds will go towards a canine play yard and updates to the feline intake facility.
Tucker County Animal Shelter will be having a Golf Tournament on September 19 at the Holly Meadows Golf Course at 9 am. Sponsors, teams, and volunteers are needed for this event.
Run For It is on September 25 and Friends of the Tucker County Animal Shelter team needs members! Sign ups can be done at tuckerfoundation.net and donations are welcome. TheLeaf Peepers Festival will have a Dog Show and Kitten Kissing Booth at the event. All funds raised will go towards the canine play yard and feline intake facility updates.
