PARSONS – A Tucker County man appeared in Circuit Court for failure to check in with Tucker County Community Corrections as he was ordered. Clayton Carpenter appeared before Tucker County Circuit Judge James W. Courrier Jr. with his attorney Frank Bush. Courrier ordered a pre-sentence investigation for Carpenter, who is set to appear again once the investigation is completed.
Robin Maxson appeared before Judge Courrier with his attorney Jeremy Cooper. Maxson pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault in the third degree. Courrier ordered a pre-sentence investigation and he will appear in Tucker County Circuit Court Nov. 17 for possible sentencing.
