If you live in Tucker County odds are you know someone who races dirtbikes or ATVs. Talk to any racer or parents of a racer and they all have the same opinion, racing is fun but expensive. Tucker County has too much talent on the track to keep financials from halting their dreams. This is where the idea came to start a club.
The board is made up of local racing parents. The club is currently running a fundraiser for a $500 Visa Card. They have planned on several other fundraisers to be started in the near future.
There are no dues or membership fees to be a part of this club. The way to become a member and to receive funding is by participating in fundraisers. The more the club grows the more fundraising will be done.
The club will offer incentives for racers per fundraiser they participate in; hence, the more you help the more you will receive from the club. The club will also offer rewards each race.
There will be a process that must be followed in order to receive any funding from the club for racing. First and foremost is participation. The racer must also fill out an application. The application will include the racers information, how much they are asking for, and what they will be buying if they receive funding. The racer will then need to attend one of the meetings to present before the board. You will then receive an answer within 7 days as to whether you are approved for any funding. Upon approval, you will receive the funding. Copies of receipts for purchased items must be sent in once item/s have been purchased. This does not have to ever to be paid back.
If you are interested in attending a meeting or becoming a part of this club you can follow them on Facebook, TC Youth Racing Club, or talk to one of the board members.
