Bring your Bible to school day is Thursday, Oct. 6. Thousands of students across the whole country will share God’s hope and celebrate religious freedom by doing something simple, yet powerful. Simply by bringing their Bibles to school and expressing their faith, students are helping to protect religious freedoms for other students – and for generations to come who will one day walk through the doors of their school or college.
This event is sponsored by Focus on the Family and they have set up a special website for this event, it is wwwbringyourbible.org. Go to this website and sign up. When you sign up, you will get a free guide with easy tips on how to get started, downloadable posters, sticker and t-shirt designs, information on your legal rights as well as other fun, interactive activities. The Bible talks about how the Word of God is powerful for changing lives (Heb. 4:12; Is. 55:10-11). This event helps students live out those verses! In addition to providing life-changing spiritual guidance for our lives, the Bible is an extremely important historical document this is cited in many influential pieces of literature. So if students really want to be a knowledgeable person, it is important to know all about the Bible!
Be a part of this nationwide, student-led movement!
