Thomas Volunteer Fire Department will host an open House on June 3 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. to celebrate their 100th anniversary.
The open house will feature the Tucker County Sheriff Department, the West Virginia State Police, Smokey the Bear, fire truck rides, 911 Center Communications trailer, K-9 unit, Health Net helicopter, Leadmine CERT Team and Tucker County EMS.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with members of the fire department, CERT team, Sheriff’s department, West Virginia State Troopers, K-9 Unit, tour the helicopter and visit with the crew, tour the 911 center trailer, and check out the fire engines and rescue truck.
Hotdogs will be provided and door prizes will be awarded throughout the day. The public in invited to attend this free event.
