Scott and Nypl, CPAs, A.C. is pleased to announce that Kristie Vandevander, CPA has been promoted to Managing Shareholder.
Vandevander, an Elkins native and graduate of Davis & Elkins College, has been employed with Scott and Nypl CPAs, A.C. since 2007. She is experienced in all areas of taxation, including individual, business, and not-for-profit organizations, as well as financial statement preparation. Additionally, she works in all other areas of the firm’s business, including new business startups, bookkeeping, and payroll services.
Scott and Nypl, CPAs, A.C. is located at 1303 Harrison Avenue in Elkins. “This is a great place to work because we’re local and focused on customer service, but we’re large enough to offer a variety of services and handle a diverse client base,” Vandevander said. Vandevander lives in Elkins with her husband, Jason, and children, Lexi and Brody. In addition to her work and family responsibilities, she serves her community by volunteering on the board of commissioners for the Randolph County Housing Authority, the board of directors for Mountain Hospice and Youth Health Service, and she’s an active member of the Elkins Rotary Club and the GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Elkins. She is a recent graduate of Leadership West Virginia, class of 2018.
