Recently, Melissa Waybright appeared before the Honorable Judge Courrier for sentencing. Waybright was sentenced to the following: on each of the five counts of the felony offense of “Child Abuse Resulting in Bodily Injury,” Waybright was sentenced to not less than one nor more than five years in a state correctional facility and a fine of $100. On the one count of the felony offense of “Child Abuse with Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury,” Waybright was sentenced to not less than two nor more than 10 years in a state correctional facility and a fine of $1,000. On each of the two counts of the felony offense of “Child Abuse with Risk of Serious Bodily Injury,” Waybright was sentenced to not less than one nor more than five years in a state correctional facility. For one count of the felony offense of “Child Neglect Creating Risk of Serious Bodily Injury,” Waybright was sentenced to not less than one nor more than five years in a state correctional facility. The Court granted the State’s request to run each count consecutively to one another, for a total sentence of not less than 10 nor more than 50 years incarceration and a fine of $1,500. Additionally, the Court ordered that she not have contact with the minor victims and that she not reside with anyone under the age of 18 upon her release. Waybright will also be required to register with the child abuse registry for a period of 10 years following her release from incarceration.
Pamela Lynn Nestor appeared before the Honorable Lynn Nelson and entered a plea of guilty to one count of the felony offense of embezzlement. Nestor was sentenced to not less than one nor more than 10 years in a state correctional facility, however that prison sentence was suspended, and Nestor was placed on probation for a period of five years with the condition that she pay restitution to Jim’s Allstar.
Jeremy Clinton Watson appeared before the Honorable Lynn Nelson and entered a plea of guilty to the felony offense of “Felon in Possession of a Firearm.” Mr. Watson was sentenced to four years in a state correctional facility for this offense.
