Healthcare Town Hall at the Senior Center in Parsons
Thursday June 26 at 6:00 p.m. The healthcare organizer from WV Citizen Action Group will be presenting the program and answering questions about the impact of the proposed cuts to Medicaid on WV and on Tucker County.
Free Friday
Free Friday will be held on June 27, at 6 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Parsons. It will be Italian Night. Various Italian pasta casseroles and dishes will be served, along with tossed salad, rolls, desserts and drinks. Everyone is welcome to attend and as always no donations accepted.
Free Clothes Give Away
There will be a free clothes give away from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 at the Southern Baptist Church in Rowlesburg. NO EARLY BIRDS PLEASE.
St. George Academy Annual Homecoming
Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tour academy, local book authors with books for sale, yard sale, ceramic painting, snow cones for sale, music and more. Academy Homecoming Queen Crowned at noon. Queen’s Reception and Refreshments 1 p.m. Proceeds help with Academy Restoration. Everyone Welcome!
The Limestone Church Cemetery Association
The annual meeting and clean up will be held on Saturday, June 28th beginning at 4 p.m. at Limestone Church on Limestone Road, above Saint George. Those with loved ones resting in the cemetery are welcome to join the meeting. Refreshments will be served beginning at 4 pm, and the event will conclude by 6 pm.
