Reunion
The descendants of Daniel L. and Edna Shaffer Evans will hold their 44th reunion Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 at Arnold Park, Leadmine WV. A covered dish lunch will be served at 1pm hosted by the Elwood Evans Family. Please bring a gift to be raffled
Friends of the Mountaintop Public Library
A non-profit organization that supports the library in Thomas, WV, is hosting a garden party on Saturday, August 2, in Canaan Valley. Tickets are $50 per person and proceeds will benefit the New Library Building Fund and support general operations. Ticket holders will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. A large silent auction will feature artwork, books, vacation rentals, golf and other activity passes, gift certificates, and much more. The 99th annual Helmick reunion will be Sunday, Aug. 3 at Sugarlands Church of the Brethren.
