Accident on 219

Parsons Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single Vehicle accident on 219 south near Kingsford manufacturing. A Log truck had an apparent equipment malfunction which caused the rollover of the truck ejecting the load of logs onto the road way blocking 219 North and South for around 45 minutes. There were no injuries.
The PVFD worked closely with WV State Police and Department of Highways to get the road way cleared in a timely manner and normal traffic pattern restored. Also assisting at the scene was Nelson wrecker service Tucker EMS & 911 Dispatchers. It was a good team effort by all involved.
