P.R.O.- On-Trac members are planning their sixth annual
Celebration of Parsons for individuals who have been instrumental in
helping to make the City of Parsons a better place to work and live in.
We were unable to have it the past two years because of COVID. We are
asking for you, the people of the Parsons Community, to submit letters
of nominations for the committee to choose from for the following
eight awards to be presented.
Business/Entrepreneur of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Employee of the Year
Public Safety person of the year (Fire Dept., EMS, Law Enforcement)
Most Courageous Person of the year
Celebrate Parsons Person of the Year. (Person or Organization)
Distinguished Senior Citizen of the Year
Outstanding Non Profit Organization in Tucker County
The last group has been added since we have several of these groups
that do a lot for our communities.
These awards are to be presented to those people who work and
live in the Parsons area. New business people will also be recognized.
We are planning a dinner to be held on Saturday evening on June 4 at 6 p.m. at the Baptist Church Gym for anyone who would like to
come and help celebrate with the award winners.
The dinner is being catered by Tuscan Grill Catering & Hospitality Services in Parsons. We will also be having a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing.
Reservations and tickets will be available until May 20 to let our
caterer know how many are coming. Tickets are $25 for one and $45
for two.
