The City of Parsons has designated the week of September 1st to the 8th to be Five Rivers Library Week. The proclamation passed and signed August 20th by Parsons Mayor Bruce Kolsun and the City of Parsons Council came in recognition of the library’s 50th Anniversary. Five Rivers Public Library Board President Dennis Filler, pictured right with City of Parsons Mayor Bruce Kolsun, left, was on hand for the proclamation.
