City of Parsons Supports Youth Sports

Youth  Football  received  a  dona-tion from the City of Parsons in the amount of $500 August 19th.

The City of Parsons presented several youth sports organizations with donations during their regular meeting August 19th. Council Member Melissa Jones presented checks to representatives of the various organizations on behalf of the City of Parsons Council.

“When we did the Harman draw this year, we decided to donate to all the Little League and the Girl’s Softball Teams this year,” Jones said. “So we have checks to present to you all.”

Softball, Baseball and Football received $500 each. Basketball received $1,000 due to being divided into girl’s and boy’s divisions.

The funds were allocated from the Harman Fund, an annual fund that is allocated for the betterment of the citizens of Parsons.

Little  League  Baseball  received  a  donation from the City of Parsons in the amount of $500 August 19th.
Youth Softball received a dona-tion from the City of Parsons in the amount of $500 August 19th.
