Moorefield – The Inaugural Cupcake Soiree, hosted by the Eastern Foundation at Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College, was a success in bringing alumni together for an evening of networking and indulgence. “I am delighted to resonate with the joy of our first-ever cupcake celebration dedicated to our esteemed alumni. Last evening was more than just a gathering; it was a wonderful testament to the enduring bonds formed within these walls,” said Monica Wilson, Interim Vice President of Academics and Student Services at Eastern, “The inaugural cupcake celebration served as a sweet reminder of the enduring ties that bind us together. Here’s to the first of many reunions, celebrating the past, present, and future of our incredible alumni family.”
Alumni gathered on Thursday, February 28, 2024, at 4 p.m. to enjoy a selection of gourmet cupcakes from Beth’s Cakes & More. The event, organized by the Eastern Foundation, highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to fostering a strong and connected community of Eastern alumni. “The event was a great opportunity to stay connected with other Eastern Alumni as well as network with members of the communities that Eastern serves,” said Jaennae Snyder, Eastern Alumna & HR Representative for Eastern, “These events show the value of being an Eastern student and all the successes that come with it. It also allows us to stay engaged in the college community.” Those who missed the event can stay tuned for future gatherings and opportunities to reconnect.
The Eastern Foundation’s next event coming up is the annual Farm-To-Table Dinner.
