Health Screenings at Pride in the Park Event

Elkins, WV – Free and discounted health screenings will be offered at the June 29 Pride in the Park event at Elkins City Park.

 

“It is important to have accessible healthcare for all members of our community,” said Dr. Catherine “Mindy” Chua, DO, MS, FAAFP, FNMN, CPE, FAAPL, Chief Medical Officer for Davis Medical Center.  “We are happy to bring a variety of important screenings, and we are committed to inclusivity, diversity, and compassionate care for all.”

 

Screenings available at the event include: 

  • Pap smears
  • STD testing
  • PreP prescriptions
  • Wellness labs
  • HIV, syphilis and Hepatitis C testing

 

Davis Medical Center, Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Mobile Unit, and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, among others, will provide testing from 11 am until 2 pm.
