A large ice jam made its way down the Cheat River Saturday, January 31st. The photo above shows it making its way through the St. George area. The ice jam also went through Parsons. Conditions on the river were treacherous due to the ice, snow melt and heavy rains Saturday that raised water levels around the area and caused flooding in some areas.
