Mayor Dorothy Judy was honored at a Banquet hosted by the City of Parsons or her 16 years of service to the City. Judy was only the second female mayor of the City and served as mayor the longest. Several people spoke at the event including Judy’s husband and children, as well as City Administrator Agnes Arnold who served as Master of Ceremonies at the event City Council Member Tim Auvil, Mayor Bruce Kolsun and Jason Myers. Judy was presented with a certificate of recognition from City Council Members Tim Auvil and James Humphrey with Mayor Bruce Kolsun. Judy was also given a portrait of the courthouse by her granddaughter at the banquet.
