Parsons Lions Club holds Christmas dinner

Parsons Lions Club held their Christmas dinner at B & J’s Family Diner. The Club hosted the District Governor (DG), Kermit Hawley and his wife Judy.

 DG Kermit talked to the members and their guests about the importance of getting involved and supporting the community and the county.

 Some fun with Christmas word games and lots of laughs, was enjoyed by all.

 DG Kermit, presented two awards.   The Melvin Jones Fellow, the highest award in the Lions Organization was presented to Keith Lipscomb for his dedicated Humanitarian Services Lions Club International Foundation.

 The Leonard Jarrett award was presented to Paul Nestor, by the club, in sincere appreciation of his distinguished service for Sight and Hearing, WV Sight Conservation Foundation Inc. 2023.
