The Parsons Advocate

Parsons Chief of Police Bill Rowe and Parsons City Council members inspect the new police cruiser, a 2007 Dodge Charger purchased from the City of Ripley. Jason Myers, Parsons City Administrator/Treasurer said the vehicle cost $6,000 and will replace the 2004 Ford Explorer that is ‘past its useful life’ as a police cruiser and is being used to transport city personnel to trainings and meetings. Myers said Miller Communication in Parkersburg transferred the equipment from the Explorer to the Charger and also completed the decals on the new vehicle. Pictured with Rowe are Jane Barb, Bruce Kolsun, Myers, Connie Collins, Melissa Jones and Tim Auvil.
