The Tucker Community Foundation is proud to announce they have added a new staff member to their team; Hannah Snyder was welcomed on board at the beginning of January as the Development & Marketing Officer.
“Hannah Snyder brings a considerable amount of experience from her respective field to her new role with the foundation,” said David Cooper, Executive Director of the Tucker Community Foundation. “We’re excited to harness her talents to support the Foundation in our work to create opportunities for the communities we serve.”
In this role, Snyder is working on shaping and expanding the Foundation’s footprint as well as helping to tell its story throughout Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Pocahontas, Preston, Randolph, and Tucker counties in West Virginia and Garrett County, Maryland.
“I’m excited to bring my skills to the Tucker Community Foundation to help support communities and impact the people in a region I love and where I call home,” Snyder said. Hannah Snyder is a Tucker County native and comes to the Tucker Community Foundation with 5 years of marketing experience. One of her projects is organizing the Run For It race, one of the Tucker Community Foundations’ biggest fundraisers. Snyder brings a knowledge of race experience having worked alongside Robby McClung, owner of Canaan Valley Running Company, for the last 5 race seasons. She received her degree in Business Management from Davis & Elkins College in 2016 and is the owner, photographer, and creative mind behind Hannah Snyder Media, a small business located in Tucker County.
